Each line represents a Commission.

• The first column is the date the Commission was generated (usually the same as the date the Invoice was paid).

• The second column shows the Invoice the Commission was generated from.

• The third column shows the Image ID number and the date the Commission is due

• The fourth column is the amount of the Commission (not the amount of the original sale)

• The last column shows a running balance on the account

When Commissions have been paid

Once a Commission has been paid to the Photographer, it will not appear on his/her Ledger unless you click inside the All Entries choice in the drop-down.

If the Commission has been paid, the date in parentheses represents the date the Commission was paid, not the date it was due.

Retrieve Invoices

The Invoice button at the menu bar of the Ledger screen retrieves the current invoice that is highlighted.

Chargebacks

The Ledger screen also shows Chargebacks:

Chargebacks are those charges that you assess Photographers for expenses related to Image sales.

Chargebacks are deducted from Commissions: either from specific Image sales, or from the account as a whole.

Here you can enter anything that you charge a Photographer for, such as duping fees or catalog fees.
