20/20 Software is proud to announce the release of weighted keywording.

June, 2008. Last year 20/20 added the ability on the database level to weight keywords. Now we have added the long-awaited user interface for weighting keywords. On the Image Screen, under the KEYWORD menu (and also under the "key" icon) you will see a new menu choice for RANKING KEYWORDS. Open this menu choice to see a screen with the image's keywords on the left, and four "cubbies" on the right -- each cubbie representing a keyword priority. The top cubbie (lowest number) is the highest priority. Drag keywords from the left to the right. Drag them back if you make a mistake.

When you export images to your PsWeb website, it will automatically understand these priorities and rank the images appropriately.

The new ranking system gives your website an enormous searching advantage over others. If you're willing and able to put the work into maintaning this system, your searches will produce results that are heads and shoulder above your competition.

20/20 adds new release status to ProStock and PsWeb.

June, 2008. 20/20 SOftware has added three new release statuses to both ProStock and PsWeb. Now you can mark an image for:

  • Not Released (0)
  • Model Released (1)
  • Property Released (2)
  • Model & Property Released (3)
  • Released not Required (4)
Note that this system is backwardly compatible with the existing system. When you export these settings to the PsWeb engine it will natively understand them. You will need a small work order to get your preview and cart pages to display the new options.

December, 2007. 20/20 Software launches an enhanced search engine that increases its ability to parse natural-language searches. This engine not only understands full sentences, but successfully parses keyword phrases that are contained within the middle of the entered text. The enhanced engine works in English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, and Polish.

November, 2007. 20/20 Software launches its first site that has both subscription and micropayment commerce. Www.grangeracademic.com, a subsidiary of The Granger Collection, contains historical content for students and teachers.

20/20 has created a simple and elegant composite site, allowing users to buy images for $3.00, $4.00, or $5.00, depending on quantity; or to buy three levels of subscriptions and download images against the credits already purchased.
